WELCOME!

I’m Vicki Romaine. I am formerly from Raleigh, NC and Chester, VA, but now reside in Hendersonville, TN which, is just outside Nashville. My husband and I have 3 grown girls and 6 grandchildren who live nearby. I have never had any art training, but just love to create cards and other things from paper.

I am a Copic Certified Designer and was the 2009-2010 Design Team – Staff Writer for Technique Junkies Newsletter. You can find my blog at http://cheerfulstamppad.blogspot.com/

Crafting-wise, I love to try new techniques and write tutorials. I don’t have a particular style of card making; I like to experiment. DigiDarla is only the second Design Team I have been on. I am so honored and really looking forward to creating using the digitals from that site. I hope my cards and other projects will be an inspiration to others.

Chris Hanselman~ AKA Scrappin Chris

Bio~~ I live in Vinton, Virginia. I was born and raised in Northern New York and have lived in Virginia for 11 years now. I am married to my best friend, Larry, and between us we have 4 children. TJ, my son, is married to Lisa and lives in Philly. Kelly, my daughter is a sophomore at Auburn University. Katie, my step daughter is a freshman at Virginia Western. Kevin, my step son, is a senior in high school. We are owned by 7 cats and 3 birds. I have been crafting in one form or another since I was 12. I recall crafting with my Aunt Betty way back when in her basement studio. February 2010, I started paper crafting by way of my Cricut. By March my main focus became digi-stamps. I still use my Cricut in making cards but for the most part, it is only used for accents. I enjoy learning new techniques and looking at the work of others.

Natalie Ballard BA(Hons)

Hi, I’m an experienced crafter with a professional design background from the UK. I have been crafting since I was 6 when I started making jewellery before expanding to papercrafting as we now know it in 1999.
I started with rubber stamping after buying a set for my mom, and as with most things, I got to use them first! From then on things snowballed, with starting to do small one off commissions for friends, to supplying a local shop, to larger commissions, and finally to having sets of my cards bought wholesale. This has enabled me to gain a range of experience and wisdom in converting a hobby into a cottage industry.
My artistic style is influenced by vintage and ecclectic styles, while retaining a paper engineering focus. I also have a keen interest in the use of technology in papercraft.
I’m privileged to be working with Kim, and I love my job – what more can a girl ask!!
I live in the Midlands with my beloved husband, and we get frequently pounced on by my three step children aged 8, 6 and 4. When I’m not working (or being pounced on), I love photography, reading and most of all dancing (which is handy as my husband is a dance teacher).

Karen’s Cards & Layouts

Mistyrose Cramer

Hello Everyone,

My name is Mistyrose. I have been crafting since I was seven years old. My first project was making Valentine Day cards with my mom and I have been addicted ever since. Anywho, I love to use mix media for quilts, scrapbooking, paper crafts, and decorating cupcakes.

I live in a small country town called Mammoth Spring, AR. Our charming little house sits on a small farm. Most of my time is spent with my wonderful family raising bee’s, growing  gardens, and smelling our mini orchard of collected fruit trees. I am a happy mother of a delightful 12 son, that helps care for our horses~chickens~cats and our rescued Deer Hansel.

I started to craft after my husband had a stroke last year… It was my only release and serenity. However, being crafty has always lived inside me…awaiting for the day I could start to create. Any free time I get, I sneak away into my special place..

I am so happy to say for the next 6 months I am going to have a bunch of FUN!!! I am delighted to be a part of Digi Darla’s Design Team…I really love Darla’s Digi’s they are so much fun to play with…I am way too excited to start playing with her wonderful  art work..

Glad to be here with Everyone,

Mistyrose Cramer

“Hi, my name is Krystyna and I live in the UK with my husband Peter. We have been married for 36 years and we have a daughter, Natalie, and a son-in-law, Ian, as well as three gorgeous step grand children.

I’ve always been into arts and crafts. After a period of jewellery making, I started making cards in 1998 as a form of relaxation. Little did I know friends and family would soon be requesting commissions. I always said I would never do wedding invitations and stationery as I pride myself on making one off cards, but I made an exception for Natalie and Ian’s wedding in 2011. Hundreds of die cut butterflies later, I have had requests to do further wedding stationery for Natalie and Ian’s best man and usher. I pride myself in perfection, and not a single card leaves the studio unless I’m 100% happy with it.

I was overjoyed recently to be asked to join the design team here, and I’m just starting my own blog (with some help from Ian)”

My blog is http://kierabloom.wordpress.com and I hope to have a link to my Deviant Art site on there too shortly. Not too much on there yet but trying to update as and when I can.
